Peaks of the Balkans est un sentier d'\u00e9t\u00e9 renomm\u00e9 qui, apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans des pages de voyage telles que le New York Times, le Financial Times aux \u00c9tats-Unis et en Europe, et le Singapore Times en Asie, est devenu une destination populaire pour de nombreux randonneurs. Une fois la neige dissip\u00e9e, et parfois m\u00eame plus t\u00f4t, jusqu'\u00e0 ce que les jours raccourcissent, les randonneurs du monde entier affluent sur ces sentiers. Cependant, la question reste toujours : qu\u2019en est-il des sommets des Balkans en hiver ?<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Le sentier des sommets des Balkans pendant la saison hivernale pr\u00e9sente un d\u00e9fi. Les conditions hivernales rigoureuses dans ces montagnes isol\u00e9es, allant de 1\u00a0000 \u00e0 2\u00a0600 m\u00e8tres d\u2019altitude, constituent le premier d\u00e9fi. De plus, la fermeture des maisons d\u2019h\u00f4tes dans ces zones en raison du peu d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat et des difficult\u00e9s de fonctionnement sans infrastructure hivernale ajoute au d\u00e9fi.<\/p>\n

De plus, les distances de parcours de 12 \u00e0 20 km, traversant des terrains accident\u00e9s, peuvent pr\u00e9senter des risques d'avalanche. \u00c0 cela, il faut ajouter le fait que certains de ces essais n\u2019ont jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9s dans cette perspective. Le manque de r\u00e9ception t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique complique encore davantage le d\u00e9fi d'un sentier de 192 km.<\/p>\n

Qu\u2019est-ce qui est r\u00e9alisable en hiver \u00e0 partir de 2023 ?<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Les passionn\u00e9s de ski, les entrepreneurs aventureux et les alpinistes ont explor\u00e9 et rendu certaines sections skiables, accessibles \u00e0 pied et visitables m\u00eame en plein hiver. Les sentiers et sections deviennent de plus en plus populaires aupr\u00e8s des passionn\u00e9s. Xavier Carrard de la coop\u00e9rative suisse d'alpinisme Helyum<\/a> et Shams Eybert-Berard<\/a>, un guide fran\u00e7ais originaire de Grenoble, ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 ski\u00e9 certaines parties du sentier. Guest House Leonardi a hivern\u00e9 certaines chambres, tandis que Guest House Gacaferri a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 se sp\u00e9cialiser dans l'accueil de visites hivernales.<\/p>\n

L'entreprise locale Balkan Natural Adventure, leader du ski de randonn\u00e9e dans les Balkans, a d\u00e9j\u00e0 organis\u00e9 quelques trails pour ses clients.<\/p>\n

Il n'y a pas de piste pr\u00e9cise en circulation car les skieurs recherchent les meilleurs endroits pour la neige. Toutefois, les sections pr\u00e9sentant le plus grand potentiel sont celles situ\u00e9es \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 des fronti\u00e8res entre les monts Decani et Peja (Kosovo), Babino Polje et Bogicevica (Mont\u00e9n\u00e9gro) et les vall\u00e9es de Doberdol et Sylbica (Albanie). Ces sections du sentier des Sommets des Balkans sont riches en longues pentes mod\u00e9r\u00e9es et enneig\u00e9es qui durent jusqu'au d\u00e9but du mois de mai. Avec la condition vient l\u2019offre\u00a0; ce sont les maisons d'h\u00f4tes de ces r\u00e9gions qui proposent un h\u00e9bergement d'hiver.<\/p>\n

La diff\u00e9rence en 2019, lorsque nous avons pris la premi\u00e8re photo de cet \u00e9ventuel sentier d'hiver de Doberdol, \u00e9tait inimaginable car les maisons d'h\u00f4tes n'\u00e9taient pas hivernis\u00e9es et la maison d'h\u00f4tes Gacaferri n'existait pas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pour les chasseurs en pleine nature, les ann\u00e9es 2024 et 2025 offrent les meilleures possibilit\u00e9s de vivre une exp\u00e9rience unique. Un peu plus tard peut aussi fonctionner\u00a0; cependant, avec une croissance du tourisme d'environ 10 pour cent par an, si vous pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez la nature sauvage, vous devez agir rapidement.
