Het kan op de een of andere manier speculatie zijn om naar de gemiddelde temperaturen van de afgelopen vijf jaar te kijken en deze aan de opwarming van de aarde te wijten. Uit ons kleine onderzoek naar de temperaturen van Peaks of the Balkans over een periode van vijf jaar blijkt echter dat er veranderingen zijn die van invloed zijn op het weer in deze bergen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In de afgelopen twee jaar, 2018 en 2019, heeft het bedrijf Natuurlijk avontuur op de Balkan<\/a> heeft in april rondleidingen geleid op de Peaks of the Balkans-route. Volgens de gidsen en toeristen waren er geen grote problemen en was de sneeuw op sommige delen van de route gereserveerd, aangezien het meestal slechts op enkele plekken lag.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We hebben de gemiddelde temperaturen in de maand april in Valbona gecontroleerd en de resultaten laten een hogere gemiddelde temperatuur zien in 2018 en 2019, die 17 graden Celsius bereikte, van 12,5 gemiddeld tussen 2012 en 2016. De verandering in temperatuur is alleen te zien in het vroege voorjaar en het late najaar. Juni, juli en augustus zijn weinig veranderd, maar in september en oktober was de gemiddelde temperatuur hoger. In 2018 was het gemiddelde in oktober 22 graden Celsius, terwijl het in 2017 en 2016 16 graden Celsius was.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Op het gebied van regenval vond de grootste impact in 2018 plaats in de maand juni, toen er 17 dagen regen viel, vergeleken met maximaal 6 dagen regen in de voorgaande 6 jaar. September was ongewoon droog, terwijl de impact in oktober en de regen ook erg klein waren.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Dit is een blogpost, geen wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Het wijst echter op ongebruikelijke veranderingen in de Peaks of the Balkans Trail. We hopen dat dit geen gevolgen zal hebben voor de bloemen en dieren in het wild in de regio.<\/p>\n
